Groningen Airport Eelde holds hydrogen workshop
The NXT Airport Hydrogen Workshop is a workshop that Groningen Airport Eelde has created for students to work on hydrogen in partnership with Alfa College instructors and students.
The design and development of a hydrogen generator will be the focus of the workshop. The Groningen airport provides an opportunity for Alfa College students to practice their skills. Groningen Airport Eelde hopes to support innovation and sustainable energy in this way.
Vietnamese debate hydrogen strategy
On December 25, a debate on “Draft strategy on hydrogen energy production; implementation of gas thermal power projects” was facilitated by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.
In order to determine the best course for developing gas power, wind power, and hydrogen energy, representatives of various ministries, departments, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Vietnam Electricity Group, and energy and economic specialists attended the debate.
Hyphen Hydrogen Energy and SDG Namibia One Fund ink share subscription deal
On December 22, Hyphen Hydrogen Energy and SDG Namibia One Fund, the official funding partner for the Namibian government’s green hydrogen initiatives, announced that they had signed a share subscription agreement.
As per the agreement, the Hyphen green hydrogen project will have a 24 percent ownership from the SDG fund. The project development will get an initial financing of over $24 million to support the capital subscription of the Fund.
SDG Namibia One is a blended finance instrument that focuses on infrastructure and green hydrogen projects in Namibia. The fund aims to attract $1 billion from global and Namibian public and private investors.
