The Technological District for Energy and Green Economy (DTE2V) managed by CoSviG, the Consortium for the development of geothermal areas, informs that Tuscany Region has activated 4 round tables on the hydrogen theme – each one chaired by the regional councillor of reference -, in view of the important resources allocated in this regard by the NRP, and in the perspective of European structural funds.

The four discussion tables are respectively dedicated to research and training, technology transfer and production chain, infrastructure and sustainable mobility, energy and environment.

“The purpose of the tables – say the DTE2V – is to activate the dialogue between the actors in the supply chain belonging to the world of research and business, and to identify important projects that can be accompanied to funding.

For its part, the District, in its role as an aggregator of the subjects that operate in various ways in the Tuscan regional energy supply chain, is carrying out an activity aimed at collecting the initiatives and ongoing projects of its members in order to promote networking and the emergence of multidisciplinary partnerships of importance that increase the opportunities for selection for the cordate that will arise. Projects and initiatives can already be reported to DTE2V by writing to segreteria@dte-toscana.it.

“On hydrogen – explained in recent days the Councillor for the Environment, Monia Monni – Tuscany is a team as evidenced by the numerous meetings of the regional table coordinated by the presidency, which has seen the participation of over 200 subjects, from which more than 80 contributions have already been received with possible project ideas to be developed”.

Without forgetting that hydrogen is not an energy source, but an increasingly important vector for storing, moving and marketing energy. But it remains to be produced: for this we need first of all more renewables, which are abundant in Tuscany starting from geothermal energy, as remains to be explored the possibility of obtaining hydrogen directly from waste not mechanically recyclable, through chemical recycling.
