The UAE has partnered with the Netherlands to advance research and development of hydrogen fuel.
Suhail Al Mazrouei, the UAE’s Minister for Energy and Infrastructure, and Liesje Schreinemacher, the Netherlands’ Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, inked an initial arrangement on hydrogen power on Monday at the Expo 2020 site.
According to Mr Al Mazrouei’s statement, “such partnerships help catalyze the transition to hydrogen energy and aid the two countries in creating programs and initiatives to support the Paris Climate Agreement.”
Additionally, the official stated, it will open up new opportunities for expansion and progress by diversifying the energy mix, increasing reliance on renewable energy, establishing real collaborations, and fostering cooperation.
