Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Energy Minister, said that his country has begun construction of the Middle East’s first ecologically friendly hydrogen plant.
By depending on green hydrogen and renewable energy sources, the UAE is aiming to minimize carbon emissions. It published a strategy for growing the hydrogen field on Thursday as part of a goal to boost low-carbon indigenous enterprises and help the country reach climate neutrality.
