Thirty British manufacturers have launched a program to assess and better serve the growing hydrogen and carbon capture industries.
Throughout the 12-month pilot program for the Zero Carbon Humber Partnership, the businesses will work toward the Fit For Hydrogen (F4H2) and Fit For Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (F4CCUS) standards.
During the pilot phase, which will begin in November 2022 and extend until December 2023, 30 organizations will migrate using F4H2 and F4CCUS. The program will incorporate evaluation against a range of business excellence metrics together with sector-specific assessment and development objectives. To close any performance or capacity gaps, the businesses will work together with the industrial advisors from the Nuclear AMRC.
The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC), a subsidiary of the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult, operates F4H2 and F4CCUS based on its Fit For model of supplier development.
