Vestas has received an order for 278 MW of V150-4.2 MW turbines for a project in the United States.
The project has a total nameplate capacity of 302 MW including previously purchased 4 MW of components.
The order includes the turbine supply and commissioning as well as a service agreement for 10 years of Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000), designed to ensure optimized performance for the project’s lifetime.
The delivery of turbines will begin in the second quarter of 2021 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
