Wood has named Josh Carmichael as Vice President of Hydrogen, reiterating the company’s commitment to speeding the global energy transition and offering the necessary mix of technical solutions to achieve a net-zero energy future.
To achieve the Paris Agreement’s objectives and in preparation for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), many of the world’s greatest economies and leading enterprises are migrating to a more sustainable energy system powered by clean energy sources such as hydrogen.
Josh has considerable experience in hydrogen, having held top positions with Transdev in the Netherlands and the South Australian Government, where he designed the state’s green hydrogen investment strategy.
Josh will manage Wood’s global hydrogen push in this newly created job, collaborating with clients, industry partners, and government agencies to promote the rapidly growing hydrogen sector. Josh will leverage Wood’s current hydrogen knowledge, working closely with colleagues in key hydrogen markets, to position the firm as a preferred partner for developing strategic and impactful hydrogen projects around the world.
