The world’s first liquid hydrogen-powered ship, HYDRA, has now been delivered from LMG Marin.
On the triangular path between Hjelmeland-Skipavik-Nesvik, the vessel joined her near sibling NESVIK. Meanwhile, she is prepared to sail on liquid hydrogen, but this will only happen when supplies are available, which should be in a few months.
HYDRA is more than just a one-of-a-kind design. This is a one-of-a-kind ship with a high technology content that will pave the way for even greater innovation on sea-going ships!
