WPP Energy has chosen the University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as a research and development partner for their innovative water electrolysis green hydrogen generators, known as “W2H2.”
WPP Energy, based in Switzerland, and UTM have formalized their partnership, which will see the UTM Laser Centre’s research, which comprises more than ten researchers, progress.
Much of the research is focused on hydrogen, which could aid in a number of breakthroughs in this field.
The combined effort will eventually lead to the commercialization of the research, which will assist Malaysia and the rest of the world cut carbon emissions.
Fossil-fueled power plants have also expressed interest in W2Hw technology, which will be used to support the upcoming “HyFi” Hydrogen Trading Platform, a WPP effort.
