Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Vestas have appointed Johnny Thomsen as CEO of MHI Vestas Offshore Wind.
Thomsen succeeds Philippe Kavafyan, who left the company as CEO after two and a half years.
Therefore, as of today, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind executive management consists of Johnny Thomsen, MVOW CEO, Tatsuichiro Honda, MVOW Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Kentaro Hosomi, MVOW Deputy Chairman and CEO, Energy Systems, MHI, and Henrik Andersen, MVOW Chairman and Vestas Group President and CEO.
