A computerized command-and-control solution has been developed and put into place for Larsen & Toubro’s recently inaugurated green hydrogen facility in Hazira, Gujarat, by the Indian multinational technology consultancy firm Mindtree.
Using its Internet of Things (IoT) data analytics platform Insights NxT, Mindtree developed the solution. The technology makes it possible to remotely monitor and manage all plant functions, allowing for the reduction of operational and energy expenses as well as the efficient use of resources like solar power and battery energy storage systems.
For real-time insights into plant performance and to assist data-driven decision-making, the system has preventative and predictive data analytics capabilities. This will boost operational agility and decrease the plant’s carbon footprint by enhancing electrolyzer efficiency and decreasing downtime.
