This visionary initiative seeks to establish an interconnection between France and Germany, facilitating the transport of renewable hydrogen produced in Spain and Portugal to supply large industrial consumers in southern Germany.
The primary objective of the hydrogen corridor project is to create a seamless transport route for renewable hydrogen, produced in the Iberian Peninsula, to reach southern Germany’s energy-intensive industries. By connecting key regions and utilizing green hydrogen, the project aims to foster sustainable energy usage and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, thus contributing to carbon neutrality goals.
The hydrogen corridor utilizes advanced infrastructure and transmission networks to transport renewable hydrogen efficiently.
