Strasbourg’s Plaine des Bouchers activity zone gets hydrogen station

The hydrogen station is located in the center of Strasbourg’s Plaine des Bouchers activity zone, which is home to a potential multi-energy hub. R-GDS, a gas distributor in Strasbourg, put it into effect under the R-Hynoca brand.

As part of the Clean Energy Partnership’s H2ME initiative, the station received funding from Europe. Four hydrogen-powered cars from the neighboring European Parliament’s fleet stopped by on December 12 to recharge. The operator had previously had the pleasure of welcoming McPhy and members of the European Parliament on this occasion.

Edmonton cancels hydrogen fueling station on south side

For present, Edmonton will not establish a hydrogen fueling station on the south side for city buses and private vehicles.

Last Wednesday, the city closed the public request for proposals (RFP) for a private company-run facility at the Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) bus garage, announced with enthusiasm last April. It was first promoted to boost the economy and boost hydrogen sector investment, demand, and innovation.

Edmonton’s fleet and facility services branch manager Arjan Sharma said the proposal was “paused” due to changing hydrogen demand.
