Shell Backs Verdagy’s Electrolyzers for Hydrogen Projects

Verdagy, a player in the field of renewable hydrogen electrolysis, has achieved a milestone with Shell’s technical endorsement of its eDynamic electrolyzers.

The primary goal of Verdagy’s collaboration with Shell is to establish the viability and efficacy of its eDynamic electrolyzers for large-scale green hydrogen production. By obtaining Shell’s technical endorsement, Verdagy aims to solidify its position as a leading provider of electrolysis solutions for infrastructure-scale renewable hydrogen projects.

Verdagy’s eDynamic electrolyzers have been lauded for their dynamic performance, cost competitiveness, and scalability. These electrolyzers leverage high current densities, a wide operating range, and rapid response capabilities, allowing seamless integration with renewable power sources. With a focus on achieving the US Department of Energy’s target of $2/kg of levelized cost for renewable hydrogen by 2026, Verdagy’s electrolyzers represent a significant advancement in hydrogen production technology.

The endorsement from Shell not only validates the technical capabilities of Verdagy’s electrolyzers but also paves the way for their widespread adoption in the industry. By providing the lowest levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH), Verdagy’s electrolyzers have the potential to drive down the overall cost of green hydrogen production, making it a more economically viable and sustainable energy option.

Verdagy’s collaboration with Shell exemplifies a concerted effort to accelerate the transition towards renewable energy and decarbonize the economy. By leveraging advanced electrolysis technology, these companies are spearheading the development of sustainable solutions that promise to revolutionize the energy landscape and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
