Quantron recently hosted a meeting with Dr. Fabian Mehring, the Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs. Located at Quantron’s headquarters in Gersthofen, the discussion concentrated on designing innovative methods to enhance efficiency and promote sustainable transport solutions.
This dialogue between Andreas Haller, Quantron AG CEO & Founder, and Minister Dr. Mehring concentrated on how digitalization can transform the transportation sector. They highlighted the critical need to lower CO2 emissions, whilst also investigating strategies that adopt technological advances to meet this goal.
Quantron’s Quantron-as-a-Service platform was heavily discussed during this meeting. This unique model offers comprehensive transportation solutions for businesses and fleets promoting zero emissions. The platform operates on a pay-per-kilometre model, encompassing a full range of services, facilitating a smooth transition to sustainable transport.
Dr. Mehring expressed admiration for Quantron’s forward-thinking approach. He highlighted the critical role of digitalization in facilitating climate transition and commended their Quantron-as-a-Service platform. He praised QUANTRON for their open-technology approach, incorporating both battery and hydrogen-electric propulsion system and providing an extensive portfolio of green mobility solutions.
The meeting also included discussions on ROQIT, a promising venture between Quantron and India’s Aiontech. This venture focuses on building a digital transaction platform for the proprietary Quantron-as-a-Service environment. The platform’s digital components include Data Insights that promote efficient and eco-friendly fleet operations. In essence, ROQIT aims to offer a custom digital platform solution, combined with software offerings, to effectively establish QUANTRON’s business plan.
