Green Hydrogen Coalition adds new board member
Paul Browning has joined the distinguished Board of Directors of the Green Hydrogen Coalition (GHC). Paul contributes 35 years of experience in the global energy sector to the group of esteemed industry executives that also includes Denita Willoughby, Thierry Lepercq, Janice Lin, Lacy McManus, Jonathan Birdsong, and Grace Tsai. His extensive experience will aid the GHC in developing and advancing its common goal of deploying green hydrogen at scale for multi-sectoral decarbonization. He was elected to a two-year term.
USCG establishes development course for US towboat powered by hydrogen
The development of the first hydrogen-powered towboat in the United States has been going on for a few years, and it recently came to a crucial agreement with the Coast Guard that will pave the way ahead. The project’s driving force, Maritime Partners, and the USCG inked a Design Basis Agreement for the Hydrogen One towboat. This innovative technology will create hydrogen inside the ship, removing the need for bunkering and storing hydrogen.
