Klaipeda Port to expand its fleet with hydrogen-powered vessel
Klaipeda Port intends to expand its fleet with a vessel that runs on hydrogen.
The port authorities announced on Friday that plans are underway to establish green hydrogen production and refueling facilities in Klaipeda.
According to a statement from the Klaipeda Port Authority’s director general, Algis Latakas, the port’s hydrogen plans call for the addition of a hydrogen-fueled ship to its fleet.
Kalpataru Projects International investigates production of green hydrogen electrolyzers
According to Amit Uplenchwar, director of Kalpataru Projects International, formerly known as Kalpataru Power Transmission, the company is considering expanding into numerous product lines by producing green hydrogen electrolysers.
He stated that the company is focused on impending energy transition prospects in hydrogen, nuclear power, and other energy-related fields and is continuously striving to grow its EPC value chain in new sectors.
