Statkraft and Bosch have signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). For a period of 12 years Statkraft will supply about 570 GWh of green electricity from German solar parks.
Bosch will use the solar energy to supply manufacturing and administrative sites in Germany.
The supply of electricity started in May 2020. With the volumes supplied by the end of the term in December 2031, around 14,250 households can be supplied with solar power for 12 years.
The electricity comes from nine Bavarian solar parks with a total installed capacity of 47 MWp, for which Statkraft signed power purchase agreements last year with developer and asset owner Enerparc.

Until the end of 2020 all 400 Bosch locations worldwide will be climate-neutral. The German locations have already been climate-neutral since the end of 2019.
