Poland’s Ministry for Climate and Environment plans to provide financial support for hydrogen energy projects, aligning with the country’s push toward renewable energy sources.

The government aims to boost the development and implementation of hydrogen technologies which are seen as a crucial element in reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy security.

Hydrogen is being embraced as a key component in Poland’s transition to cleaner energy. Due to its versatility and potential to store and produce energy without emitting carbon during use, hydrogen is gaining significant attention. By investing in hydrogen, Poland seeks to decrease its reliance on fossil fuels and cut down on pollutants, contributing to both national and global environmental targets.

Support through Subsidies

To accelerate the adoption of hydrogen technologies, the Polish government will offer subsidies to projects dedicated to hydrogen innovation.
