The Stadtwerke Stuttgart GmbH has issued a tender titled “Errichtung und Wartung von Gasanalyseanlagen im Zusammenhang mit der Herstellung von Wasserstoff,” signifying a substantial move in the hydrogen industry.
This tender, published on 16 January 2025, has a submission deadline for requests to participate by 17 February 2025. The tender holds importance as it concerns the construction and maintenance of gas analysis equipment integral to hydrogen production at the Green Hydrogen Hub Stuttgart. This initiative is crucial for enhancing hydrogen infrastructure, aiming to support greener and sustainable energy solutions.
The main objective of the tender is to provide and maintain sophisticated gas analysis systems that are part of the hydrogen production setup. The successful bidder will be responsible for the detailed engineering, supply, installation, site acceptance testing, and maintenance of these gastechnical systems. These systems include multi-gas analysis setups, safety cabinets for supply gases, containers for measuring devices, and gas conditioning for both low and high-pressure sample gases.
The focus on aligning these systems as part of a coherent operational structure at the Green Hydrogen Hub is of high significance. Compatibility with the hub’s other components, such as PEM electrolyzers and hydrogen pipelines, ensures efficient hydrogen production, storage, and distribution. The project is market-driven, adjusting operations based on electricity market conditions.
Additionally, the Saarbahn Netz GmbH has released a tender for the supply of two mobile hydrogen storage trailers. The procurement, published on 16 January 2025, signifies the growing need for mobile support in hydrogen storage and logistics within urban transport networks, further emphasizing the strategic shift toward hydrogen as a sustainable energy carrier in various sectors.
