AFC Energy has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Saudi seller Tamgo for its “H-Power” hydrogen generators. This strategic collaboration is set to reshape the energy landscape in Saudi Arabia and neighboring regions.

Under this exclusive agreement, Tamgo, a trading name of Jeddah-based equipment supplier Machinery Group LLC, will take charge of marketing and selling (or leasing) AFC Energy’s zero-emission hydrogen generators. These generators, known as “H-Power,” are designed to cater to industrial and off-grid power needs. What makes them truly remarkable is their utilization of green hydrogen, a clean and sustainable energy source poised to revolutionize the energy sector.

Tamgo’s distribution rights extend not only to Saudi Arabia but also to 16 neighboring countries, including regional powerhouses like the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar. This expansion underscores the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Tamgo, as an approved supplier for major mining and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, brings substantial expertise and a solid track record to the table. The company is part of the Zahid Group, which provides manufacturing capabilities to various businesses, including renowned brands like Renault SA trucks.

AFC Energy’s H-Power generators come in various sizes, ranging from 10 to 200 kilowatts, making them suitable for diverse applications. Tamgo’s role will extend beyond sales to encompass maintenance and field support services, ensuring the seamless operation of these green energy solutions.

This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies and is poised to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen fuel cell generators in the region. Together, AFC Energy and Tamgo aim to establish a dominant presence in the Saudi market and the broader regional market for hydrogen fuel cell generators, ushering in a new era of sustainable energy.
