Air Liquide has raised 500 million euros in its first green bond offering, which will be used to fund and refinance the development of many sustainable initiatives, particularly in hydrogen, biogas, and oxygen.

This transaction is consistent with the Group’s first SRI-labeled bonds, which it issued in 2012 to fund the expansion of its Home Healthcare business. This new bond offering will help fund the Group’s ambitious sustainable projects.

This transaction was completed under the Group’s Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) program, which was highly oversubscribed by investors. Air Liquide is generating €500 million with its offering, which has a 10-year maturity and a yield of 0.461 percent.

The proceeds of this issue will enable Air Liquide to refinance its September 2021 bond maturities ahead of schedule and secure long-term funding to support the Group’s long-term expansion in highly competitive conditions.
