Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and Italian Premier Mario Draghi signed a number of key agreements in Rome on Thursday, including gas and green hydrogen arrangements.
Agreements on financial information sharing, cultural cooperation, microbusinesses, and tourism were also included in the treaties.
Sonatrach, the Algerian energy powerhouse, and Eni, the Italian fuels major, are due to sign a memorandum of understanding in Algeria to develop gas resources and green hydrogen.
