AECOM’s first focus will be on FEED, EPC contractors, and equipment procurement.
The US corporation will represent ATOME in overseeing and completing the Villeta Project, with large-scale production of green hydrogen and ammonia set to begin in 2025.
In the meanwhile, ATOME’s Mobility Division is working on a project to create hydrogen for heavy-duty vehicles, with initial revenues expected in the first half of 2023.
ATOME’s other large-scale projects in Paraguay and Iceland, which total more than 350MW, are going as planned, according to a statement.
Before making a final investment decision, AECOM will work on appointing FEED (engineering and design), EPC contractors, and equipment procurement at Villeta.
Meanwhile, AECOM is directing the engineering for the Mobility Division, which is slated to begin producing income in the first quarter of 2023.
