UK releases hydrogen transport and storage infrastructure consultation results On 2 August, the UK government issued numerous minded-to positions from its hydrogen transport and storage infrastructure consultation. The UK government will initially focus on large-scale pipeline infrastructure that transports hydrogen as a gas, using a Regulated Asset Base (RAB). Like Ofgem regulates natural gas and electricity, the RAB will have an independent regulator to oversee the framework and regulate pipeline and network operators.
