Toho Gas and Toyota Tsusho have teamed up with TotalEnergies of France to investigate the development of a value chain for hydrogen and synthetic methane, with the goal of lowering greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The businesses had agreed to collaborate on a feasibility study. The joint research will look at the value chain of TotalEnergies’ hydrogen and synthetic methane supplies to Japan, as well as the fuels’ distribution and consumption in the domestic market. Haulotte and Bouygues Energies & Services have announced a partnership to focus on using hydrogen energy to power its lifting equipment.
