The Conway Corp board of directors has approved a 20-year purchase power agreement with Lightsource BP for the development of a 132MWdc solar energy project in White County, Ark. Lightsource BP will finance, build, own and operate the facility and will deliver the solar energy it generates to Conway Corp under the fixed-rate power purchase agreement. The Happy Solar project is located on 700 acres near Happy, Arkansas, approximately 55 miles northeast of Little Rock. The new guidance, dedicated to the offshore wind industry, aims to optimize surveys by equipping offshore wind developers and surveyors with information to facilitate the creation and utilization of data according to best practice, a consistent structure and improved survey result documentation. Snam and RINA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the hydrogen sector, in order to realize the significant potential of hydrogen as a fundamental energy carrier in the fight against climate change and industrial decarbonization. The agreement was signed by Snam CEO Marco Alverà and RINA CEO Ugo Salerno. The two companies have formed a joint working group to study and test the compatibility of industrial burners and other existing infrastructure already in operation with hydrogen.
