Akershus Energi and KLP have signed an agreement with Siemens Gamesa for the delivery of a total of 34 turbines to Odal Vindkraftverk, at a value of close to NOK 1 billion. Akershus Energi and Siemens Gamesa have collaborated to find cost-effective solutions to realize the project in Nord-Odal. RWE Renewables and Nordex SE have successfully completed the process of acquisition of Nordex’ European onshore wind and solar development platform by RWE. This includes a total of 2.7 gigawatts (GW) of development pipelines in France , Spain, Sweden and Poland. RWE is strengthening its development platform in France with the purchase, with an overall pipeline of 1.9 GW in different phases of the project. Vattenfall will begin the construction of Klaverspoor wind farm in the province of Noord Brabant in the Netherlands next to the A16 motorway. The project requires an investment amounting to €45 million. EDF Renewables North America and Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), have signed a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 100 megawatt (MW) share of the King Creek 1 wind project. The King Creek project is scheduled to begin producing renewable electricity in Q4 2021. The project is located in the western zone of the Texas Electric Reliability Council (ERCOT) market and was chosen by PEC under its 2020 RFP.
