Encavis Asset Management has purchased an additional wind farm in France and a solar farm in the Netherlands for its special fund Encavis Infrastructure Fund II (EIF II) The purchase agreement for the Bois Gautier wind farm, located in western France with a total generation capacity of 11,75 MW, has been signed with Energiequelle, a developer of projects and operator of wind, biomass and photovoltaic systems. Ørsted and bp have jointly agreed to develop a possible large-scale renewable hydrogen project at bp’s Lingen Refinery in North West Germany (Emsland). The project, which is scheduled to be operational in 2024, will consist of a 50 megawatt (MW) electrolyser device capable of producing one ton of renewable hydrogen per hour or approximately 9,000 tons per year. Romande Energie France and Calycé Développement have signed a co-development partnership covering a portfolio of 15 wind farm projects in France. Located in the regions of Grand Est, Hauts de France and Pays de la Loire, the project have a total output of 646 MW. Under the terms of the partnership, Romande Energie will acquire an interest in six early-stage projects (50 percent shareholding), seven late-stage projects (100 pecent), a guaranteed project (80 per cent) and a wind farm that is already in operation (100 percent). Calycé’s team will continue to oversee all projects until they are ready for construction.
