Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has requested approval of five energy storage projects totaling 423 megawatts (MW), in a filing with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). Ameresco has been named a prequalified supplier under Scotland’s Non-Domestic Energy Efficiency (NDEE) framework. Ameresco will build on its successful work delivered under the previous version of the framework, which included energy efficiency projects at four colleges across Scotland and several Local Authorities; totaling over £7.5m of investment in carbon reduction technologies. The NDEE framework delivers energy efficiency projects for the Scottish public sector, including Local Authorities, Universities and Colleges, Healthcare, and other public bodies. LOC has been awarded by Ørsted a contract to provide Marine Warranty Survey services (MWS) for the Greater Changhua 1 & 2a offshore wind farms in Taiwan. Under the agreement, LOC will provide MWS services for the transportation & installation of the export and array cables. The cables, including 95 inter-array cables and 16 platform connector cables, will be fabricated in South Korea and transported to Taiwan. Sterling and Wilson Solar signed an EPC contract of approximately A$525 million as well as the operation and maintenance contract of approximately A$85 million, which is its largest order in Australia. CS Energy has completed the largest solar project in New Jersey. CS Energy designed, procured and installed the power plant, creating a tailored worksite. The project owner, Ben Moreell solar farm and Department of the Navy (DON), leased approximately 170 acres of underutilized land for the development of a 28.5 MW ground-mount project at Naval Weapons Station Earle (NWS Earle), in Tinton Falls. In a letter to the Dutch Lower House of Parliament, Finance Minister Hoekstra presented his preferred scenario for meeting TenneT’s capital requirement as a result of rising investments (due to the energy transition) and persistently low-interest rates.
