Turkey’s Batterysan Energy has emerged as a dynamic force, driven by innovation and research. Established in October 2020, the company has rapidly gained recognition for its pivotal role in advancing battery technologies, fuel cells, hydrogen production systems, and more.

With a focus on green energy solutions, Batterysan Energy’s journey is marked by significant achievements and ambitious growth targets.

Batterysan Energy embarked on its journey with a strong foundation, securing a project grant of 200 thousand TL from TÜBİTAK Individual Young Entrepreneurship (BIGG) 1512 program and SERA Incubation support from Erciyes Technopark. Currently operating within a 144 square meter production area in Erciyes Technopark, the company engages in a spectrum of activities including design, R&D, engineering simulations, material characterization, and product development for energy conversion and storage systems.

Under the visionary leadership of Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Kaya, the Chairman of the Board, Batterysan Energy has made significant strides in advancing hydrogen technology. One of the key accomplishments includes the successful development of a Hydrogen Production Kit (HURKIT) for Fuel Cell use, earning recognition and grants. With support from TUBITAK and Central Anatolian Development Agency, the HURKIT project escalated to the TRL-4 level, demonstrating the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Batterysan Energy’s innovation isn’t confined to hydrogen. Assoc. Dr. Kaya highlighted the significance of their smart Battery Management Systems (BMS) and inverters, integral components of portable power stations. These systems, crafted through rigorous R&D, offer users a blend of high-performance and secure energy storage capabilities. This commitment to continuous improvement and innovation underscores the company’s dedication to creating effective energy solutions.

The year 2022 marked a transformative phase for Batterysan Energy, witnessing a remarkable 12-fold growth compared to the previous year. With a turnover of 1 million 142 thousand 867 TL, the company’s trajectory is poised for impressive expansion. Assoc. Dr. Kaya revealed ambitious goals for 2023, aiming to amplify growth through investments and the launch of innovative products.

Batterysan Energy’s distinctive position in Turkey’s energy landscape is driven by its pivotal role in promoting hydrogen energy, alongside special battery systems. Their offerings, from electrocatalysts to PEM Fuel Cells, contribute to critical components of energy conversion and storage systems. With a commitment to high-value products, pioneering projects, and international collaborations, the company is spearheading Turkey’s strides towards a sustainable energy future.
