Ivette Vera-Perez has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA).
Vera-Perez has worked in the cleantech and environmental technologies industries for over 15 years. Her background includes everything from business development to site engineering, operations, and finance. She has an MBA from McGill University and a Master of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia.
Vera-Perez was the National Team Lead for Mitacs’ Account Management group before joining the CHFCA, where she oversaw a multidisciplinary group of account managers across Canada with the mission of assisting industry in securing top talent to advance innovation. She previously worked at the Ontario Centres of Innovation as the Manager of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Programs, where she oversaw $275 million in program funding.
