A significant agreement has been reached by Conrad Energy and KX Power to boost the efficiency of the Lincolnshire Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
This facility, a high-tech 80MW/160MW installation in Immingham, aims to enhance its performance and efficiency with expert management.
Through the expertise of Conrad Energy’s trading desk, KX Power’s site will ensure its storage resources are utilized effectively. This strategy includes trading and dispatching stored energy in the optimal market conditions and timings to maximize both profitability and system longevity.
Damian Darragh, Chairman of Conrad Energy, expressed excitement about the project, highlighting their goal to operate the advanced 160MWh system efficiently. The partnership aims to provide crucial stability and adaptability to the Great Britain network over the next few years.
