Doosan Fuel Cell stated that it has signed a contract to deliver 11 hydrogen fuel cells with a 440kW capacity for power generation in Xining, Qinghai Province, China.
This is the second major accomplishment in seven months, after the successful export of hydrogen fuel cells outside of the country for the first time in September of last year.
This time, the hydrogen fuel cell will be employed in China’s first P2G (Power to Gas) water electrolysis-linked green hydrogen fuel cell power production pilot project.
Doosan Fuel Cell is in charge of the hydrogen fuel cell installation, testing, and Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA), as well as technical support.
One of the energy storage solutions is P2G (Power to Gas).
It’s a method of producing and storing hydrogen using power generated from renewable sources.
“It is the outcome of foreign acknowledgment for domestic hydrogen fuel cell technology and product performance,” said Doosan Fuel Cell CEO Jeong Hyung-rak.
Meanwhile, China’s central government formalized the hydrogen industry’s development in March, stating that by 2035, the country would have built a hydrogen value chain, completed an industrial system employing green hydrogen, and applied hydrogen to all industrial areas.
