More hydrogen-powered waste collection trucks are expected to join European roads in the near future.
E-Trucks Europe has placed a new order with Proton Motor Fuel Cell for seven more fuel cell systems.
E-Trucks Europe is a specialist in the production of hydrogen-electric commercial vehicles with offices in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The order, according to Dr. Faiz Nahab, CEO of Proton Motor, “confirms the appeal and reliability of Proton Motors HyRange® in tough, real-world commercial vehicle applications.”
André Beukers, CEO of E-Trucks Europe, said, “After the initial deployment of five Proton Motor HyRange units, we are very pleased to continue our co-operation with Proton Motor and be able to offer our customers fully hydrogen-electric refuse collection trucks which can be used 24 hours a day whilst remaining emission-free and silent.”
