Envision Energy has partnered with Indonesia’s leading renewable energy provider, SUN Terra, to enhance energy storage technology and its deployment across key regions, including Southeast Asia, India, and Australia.

The alliance is focused on accelerating the implementation of advanced energy storage systems, which are critical for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of renewable energy sources. The combination of Envision’s technological prowess with SUN Terra’s local infrastructure and market knowledge creates a synergy expected to drive substantial growth in energy storage capacities. It also highlights a strategic commitment to improve global supply chains and support localized manufacturing, which is essential for the sustainable development of clean energy technologies.

Both companies recognize the necessity of building robust supply chains and local expertise. This partnership addresses common industry hurdles, such as high production costs and logistical complexities, by emphasizing the localization of assembly and construction of advanced energy storage systems. Additionally, the collaboration includes technology licensing and comprehensive service solutions, designed to streamline the integration of energy storage into existing energy infrastructures.

Envision Energy’s Senior Vice President, Kane Xu, pointed out that SUN Terra’s local expertise complements Envision’s technological advancements, foreseeing rapid growth and development in energy storage solutions for Southeast Asia, India, and Australia. Similarly, SUN Terra’s CEO, Karina Darmawan, emphasized their commitment to innovation within the renewable energy sector and highlighted the partnership’s role in enhancing clean energy adoption.

The strategy also focuses on using SUN Terra’s extensive experience with large-scale renewable projects.
