The city of Evreux has recently acquired four hydrogen-powered vehicles. A study of the two communities’ vehicle fleets will be conducted.
It was the “agreement” to open the multi-energy station on rue Maryse Bastié, on the ZAC du Long-Buisson in Vieil-Evreux. The City of Évreux ( Eure ) and the agglomeration of Évreux Portes de Normandie agreed to purchase four hydrogen vehicles.
Guy Lefrand, mayor of Évreux and president of EPN, Hubert Dejean de la Batie, vice-president of the Region in charge of the Environment, and Xavier Hubert officially accepted two of them.
The City and the Agglomeration will each have one of these Renault Kangoo ZE H2 (the hydrogen used to generate electricity) vehicles, the first for mail management and the second for waste collection monitoring. The final two vehicles, which will be delivered soon, will be dedicated to Transurban.
The car is quiet and has a range of 300 to 350 km with a full tank of hydrogen, making it suitable for urban traffic. Each vehicle is produced in France and costs 40,000 €, a reduced invoice with the Region’s subsidy (25 percent, ie 10,000 €) and an ecological bonus of 6,000 €.
