Fusion Fuel Green, Elecnor Group to develop green hydrogen projects in Spain

Fusion Fuel Green PLC and the Elecnor Group have agreed to work together to create green hydrogen projects in Spain using Fusion Fuel’s HEVO-SOLAR technology.

As part of its ambitious National Hydrogen Strategy, “Hoja de Ruta del Hidrógeno,” Spain has announced a long-term strategic commitment to create a comprehensive hydrogen refueling network. The development of cost-competitive clean hydrogen on a large scale is critical for the country’s decarbonization goals to be met. Fusion Fuel will aim to play a leading role in providing technology to decarbonize the manufacturing and mobility sectors through its Spanish JV entity.

The Elecnor Group is a market leader in the growth, construction, and operation of renewable energy, electricity, and industrial plant infrastructure projects in Spain and abroad. Elecnor can produce and supply the components and equipment needed for any solar PV system, both off-grid and grid-connected, thanks to the experience of its pioneering solar photovoltaic subsidiary Atersa. Atersa has been involved in over 60 projects totaling over 1 GW of capacity around the world.
