Universal Hydrogen, a pioneering startup in hydrogen aviation, is shutting its doors. The American company has been in bankruptcy since June, unable to find a solution to its financial troubles.
This marks the end of a unique project started in 2020, involving teams in California and Toulouse, totaling around 80 employees. Pierre Farjounel, the director general of European operations, expressed feelings of sadness and frustration in mid-August as he reflected on the situation.
