H2SYS announced an expansion of its partnership with Hyundai Motors, which will see the development of the world’s most efficient and reliable hydrogen generator set.
The new hydrogen generator, according to the company, has the highest power density and reliability in the global market for a variety of applications, and it will be available to customers later this year.
In 2019, H2SYS made its debut in the refrigeration transportation market by introducing the world’s first embedded hydrogen-powered module in a semi-trailer.
Following that, the BOXHY line of hydrogen-powered generators was introduced, which is suitable for public works, events, and light mobile backup.
Since then, H2SYS has worked with Hyundai Motor to expand into the market for higher-power hydrogen generators.
Hyundai HTWO has already delivered a number of fuel cell systems to H2SYS, which will be used to develop higher-capacity mobile and stationary electric power generators.
As demand for clean energy generation grows, the resulting hydrogen electric generators will provide the highest power density and reliability in the global market, and H2SYS will meet the needs for a wide range of applications.
H2SYS has already purchased additional fuel cell systems from Hyundai Motor in order to manufacture more generator sets, which will be delivered to key customers by 2021 and 2022 to meet demand.
Both companies hope to achieve a faster penetration of hydrogen energy in the global market and accelerate society’s transition to clean energy while meeting their collective commitments to the Paris Agreement through this collaboration.
