Haskel Hydrogen Systems Group has developed, installed and distributed new hydrogen refueling equipment for Total Nederland NV’s public hydrogen refueling station in the Dutch city of Arnhem.

Haskel designs and develops compressor equipment, which is the core of Total’s hydrogen station in Arnhem. The station refuels cars at a pressure of 700 bar and heavy vehicles at a pressure of 350 bar.

Haskel and Total Nederland have made intentional investments in hydrogen fuel infrastructure to promote the adoption of hydrogen migration. The cooperation of this facility is in line with the Dutch government’s zero emissions target and supports the deployment of public hydrogen refueling infrastructure in the Netherlands.

“Collaborating with Total is an exciting achievement for Haskel Hydrogen Systems. We are proud of the success of the initial station and look forward to future opportunities to work together to meet the rapidly growing demands for hydrogen infrastructure.”

Darran Heath Haskei’s General Manager of Hydrogen

The equipment developed for this station consists of skidded solutions featuring Haskei’s hydraulic-drive gas booster, H-Drive, which has a modular design for continuous, long-duration operation that is safe and efficient. The equipment will support rapid and reliable deployment of Total’s skidded solution capable of supporting hydrogen-powered passenger vehicles, buses and refuse collection vehicles.
