HHLA buys stake in H2Global

Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA), has acquired an interest in the H2Global foundation in order to carry out its hydrogen projects.

HHLA will actively participate in the newly established H2Global foundation in order to successfully implement its hydrogen technology projects. HHLA is already focusing heavily on the opportunities presented by green hydrogen for meeting its climate goals.

In Germany, a total of €20 to 30 billion will be invested in the development of green hydrogen.

The H2Global foundation brings together a diverse group of individuals who aim to contribute to the commercialization of green hydrogen and its derivatives. The H2Global foundation will adopt a funding strategy designed specifically for this purpose.
