Hiperbaric, a Spanish hydrogen technology firm, has strategically expanded its footprint across Europe, entering four new markets through strategic partnerships and equipment deliveries.
This move is underscored by notable collaborations, such as the one with Man Energy Solutions to establish a 1,350kg per day green hydrogen facility in Finland, aimed at servicing both mobility and industrial sectors. The partnership aligns with broader European initiatives to pivot towards sustainable energy resources amidst increasing regulatory pressure to reduce carbon footprints.
Additionally, Hiperbaric’s collaboration with Euromekanik in Sweden and a strategic alliance with Adsensys in the Netherlands demonstrate the firm’s robust market penetration and adaptability to diverse regional demands. In Austria, the company’s alliance with Voestalpine signifies a deepening reach in Central Europe, indicative of the burgeoning hydrogen economy in the region.
The firm anticipates doubling its compressor installations to 20 units by 2024, projecting a substantial turnover increase to €77 million, equating to approximately $88 million, focused primarily on robust deployments across Spain, France, and Germany. These deployments, acknowledged as critical elements in the company’s growth, include significant projects like the Power to Green Hydrogen initiative and integration into public transport infrastructures in major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona.
In a sizable leap, Hiperbaric secured its largest contract yet with French green hydrogen innovator Lhyfe, committed to supplying compressors across multiple French locales, including Bouleon, Bessières, and La Roche-sur-Yon, as well as in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany.
