Anglesey planners will consider a proposal for a hydrogen hub in Holyhead, which could help drive the island’s green agenda.
The hub is being developed by Menter Môn, a social enterprise, in collaboration with Anglesey County Council.
Logan Energy, a Scottish firm, has been awarded a contract to support the hub’s construction, with Welsh Government funding for technical designs and Chancellor Rishi Sunak confirming £4.8 million in UK Government funding.
Plans for a green hydrogen production plant as well as a fueling and distribution center have now been submitted to the local government.
The “Hydrogen Hub” will be located at Plot C7 Parc Cybi and developed by Menter Mon.
