HPS Home Power Solutions has become a member of the European Alliance for Green Hydrogen.
The EU Commission-initiated alliance is Europe’s leading initiative for developing a sustainable hydrogen economy.
It now has over 1,000 members from businesses, associations, local governments, non-governmental organizations, and research and financial institutions. The alliance is expected to play a critical role in implementing the new European hydrogen strategy’s measures and investment agenda. By 2030, it is expected that around EUR 430 billion will have been invested in green hydrogen.
The European Hydrogen Alliance is the largest and most crucial component of Europe’s hydrogen strategy. Its goal is to build electrolysis capacity across Europe with a capacity of at least 40,000 MW by 2030 and an output of up to 6,000 MW by 2024. The European Commission’s goal is to achieve CO2 neutrality in Europe by the year 2050.
Zeyad Abul-Ella, co-founder and managing director of HPS Home Power Solutions is convinced: “Green hydrogen will make a significant contribution to the restructuring of the European energy supply and thus to the desired decarbonization of many everyday processes on our continent. We are pleased to be among the more renowned Companies that want to make their contribution. We also see becoming a member of the alliance as recognition of our technological development performance of the picea system. This membership will promote our networking in the sector and provide us with technologically and economically valuable contacts. “
