Alfa Laval has joined the Hydrogen Council, a global CEO-led initiative of companies working to accelerate the clean energy transition for a better, more sustainable future.
Alfa Laval is now one of about 140 companies representing the entire hydrogen value chain from around the world.
Members of the Hydrogen Council are working on hydrogen solutions to help accelerate decarbonization. Hydrogen will play an important role in the future energy landscape. Its unique properties make it a powerful enabler for the energy transition, with advantages for the energy system as well as end-use applications such as transportation and heating.
Alfa Laval is involved in the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to use in industry, power generation, and transportation – and heat transfer technologies are key components in solutions ranging from hydrogen production, refueling stations, fuel cells, and Power-to-X solutions, which include both methanol and ammonia production. Alfa Laval’s proprietary technologies and heat transfer expertise, combined with its global manufacturing capabilities, are critical for accelerating the hydrogen economy through energy-efficient and scalable solutions that reduce costs and improve competitiveness.
