A new hydrogen refueling station for buses has been inaugurated in Güstrow, Germany.
Developed by H2APEX, a leader in hydrogen technology, this station is specifically designed to service a fleet of 52 buses operated by Regionalbus Rostock, also known as Rebus.
H2APEX’s station in Güstrow is equipped with cutting-edge technology, allowing for the quick, safe, and reliable refueling of hydrogen-powered buses. It features a 350-bar fast-fill functionality and Resato’s high-pressure compression technology. This modular design ensures the station can be easily expanded to accommodate future needs. In compliance with the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), it supports the development of Europe’s hydrogen infrastructure and the shift to zero-emission public transport.
H2APEX is dedicated to supporting the transition to green energy, and the company is excited that Rebus buses will use 100 percent green hydrogen produced at their facility in Laage.
