Hydrogen Utopia International and Powerhouse Energy Group have re-agreed terms for an equal joint venture, aiming to pave the way for sustainable energy solutions.
The proposed facility in County Longford aims to tackle plastic waste while simultaneously generating hydrogen—a clean energy source. However, despite the initial agreement for a waste-to-waste hydrogen plant in north-central Ireland, the project faced delays last year. Nevertheless, both companies have now realigned their strategies, indicating a renewed commitment to advancing sustainable initiatives.
The conversion of plastic waste into hydrogen holds significant promise for mitigating environmental pollution and fostering the transition towards cleaner energy sources.
