The future Kincsem Hyper-GT, a fresh new restomod sold at a startling price of 3 million euros, is preparing to enter the hypercar industry.
The Kincsem Hyper GT is based on the magnificent Jaguar C-X75, a hybrid hypercar that was launched in 2010 and instantly captured the hearts of fans owing to its futuristic design, which carries Ian Callum’s trademark. The latter’s studio is involved in the creation of the Hyper-GT, and other automotive titans like Ricardo and Mclaren are also involved in this enormous project.
Ricardo is a well-known British engine manufacturer, while McLaren, a well-known automobile manufacturer, will handle the vehicle’s chassis. The Kincsem Hyper-GT was meant to come with a V12 plug-in hybrid engine initially, but in the end, a completely other drivetrain was chosen. The decision was made to use a multi-cylinder hydrogen powertrain to drive four electric motors (one on each wheel), totaling around 670 horsepower.
As previously stated, McLaren will construct a carbon-fiber frame particularly intended to fit the brand new motor. The chassis will be designed as a safety tank to provide optimum protection to the occupants in the event of an accident. As a result, the Kincsem Hyper-GT will be a limited-edition restomod that will act as a testbed for this new technology, which will be available on additional models starting in 2025, including a high-performance luxury SUV.
