The largest photovoltaic park in Italy has been connected to the grid after just one year from the first construction step. The solar farm is based in Apulia, near Foggia.
The plant has a total capacity of 103 MW, it is 1.500.000 square meters, equal to 200 football fields, and can generate 150.000.000 kWh of green energy each year–enough to meet the needs of a city’s with 200.000 inhabitants.

The energy plant will save more than 80.000 tons of CO2 emissions annually.
